Movie Review: Fangirl Fanboy

Fangirl Fanboy is a teen-oriented romance-comedy about a gwapong-gwapo-sa-sarali wannabe actor and the talented teleserye dubber who agrees to help him improve his acting. Her coaching actually helps him achieve his dream of becoming a star, only to find herself heartbroken when complications arise in his career.

Fangirl Fanboy has a basic plot with cute love story that will make you smile. It tailors the need of its target audience and fans of JulianElla to fully satisfied them. I like the flow of the film in which I never get bored while watching from start to finish. There's an obvious chemistry between this new love team launch by Viva Films, the JulianElla. They both deserve this launching film because aside from their pleasant looks and formidable talent, Julian Trono and Ella Cruz can both deliver in
acting and knows how to use their charm to please the audience. Overall, Fangirl Fanboy is a fine enough teen love story that tug young adult heartstrings fairly effectively.

My Verdict: 3.5/5
