Fresh from the success of the recently concluded Cinemalaya Film Festival 2017, the first indie film of Sharon Cuneta, Ang Pamilyang Hindi Lumuluha got its commercial release on September 6 2017 nationwide. Director Mes De Guzman cited on the bloggers' conference that the commercial cut of the film is the same cut shown on Cinemalaya but digitally remastered with clearer sound and sharper image. Sharon Cuneta happily recalls on the bloggers' conference her first time experience doing an independent film, specially working with her co-star Moi Bien which she truly enjoy working with and their tandem (ShaMoi) in the film was well accepted by the audience.
Ang Pamilyang Hindi Lumuluha helmed by the direction of Mes De Guzman is about a woman desperate to have her family back tries to find "Ang Pamilyang Hindi Lumuluha" in hopes of fulfilling her ultimate dream of making them whole again. Joining Sharon Cuneta in the film are Niño Muhlach, Moi Bien, Kiko Matos, Flor Salanga, Joe Gruta, Cris Villanueva, Richard Quan, Michelle Vito, Philip Olayvar, and Alonzo Muhlach.
I personally enjoyed this film when I watch this on Cinemalaya and I can say this is one of the audience favorite for this years' Cinemalaya. You will see Sharon Cuneta as you have never seen her before. You may check my full review of Ang Pamilyang Hindi Lumuluha here.
