The long wait is finally over as the country’s premiere love team of Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo returns to the silver screen in Star Cinema’s upcoming summer romantic movie titled Can’t Help Falling In Love.
Directed by box-office director Mae Cruz-Alviar and with story and screenplay by Carmi Raymundo and Kristine Gabriel, Can’t Help Falling In Love is the follow-up to the Daniel- Kathryn mammoth hit Barcelona: A Love Untold last year.
In the media conference of Can't Help Falling In Love, premiere love team KathNiel share on how they develop individually and together as a successful love team. They said that they help each other grow as an artist especially in their acting craft. They support each other to bring out the best together. In times of misunderstanding, they would make sure that they settle and talk about it before they sleep. Kathryn also reveals that at start of their love team, she feels shy to Daniel but eventually open up after several months of working together. Daniel on the other hand has good words to Kathryn while they were starting as he don't feel intimidated as a new to the industry and was welcomed by Kathryn whole heartedly. The two has unanimous answer when ask what have they become after doing their latest film, they said that this film made them realize to live life to the fullest and try to explore things that they don't usually do. Kathryn said that thru this movie, she develops interest in diving and Daniel conquer his fear of heights by jumping off at the 40 feet high edge of the cliff. Aside from their upcoming TV series La Luna Sangre, the two is also busy planning their own business in which Kathryn will have her nail polish business for his mother tentatively named "KathNails".
Can’t Help Falling In Love is lighthearted and heartwarming romance
centered on Gab de la Cuesta (Bernardo) - a high-strung career woman
engaged to her longtime boyfriend. Gab’s well-planed life gets upside
down when she discovers that she is married to a total stranger in the
person of happy-go-lucky trip leader Dos Gonzales (Padilla).
The real conflict begins as Gab and Dos try to figure out how they
ended up as a married couple, and in the process, Gab starts breaking
her own rules to survive their confusing situation and finds herself
falling for Dos.
It should be noted that Can’t Help Falling In Love marks the sixth
year of Daniel and Kathryn as the county’s premier love team. Through
