Jing, a next-generation social media platform built around a creator-first digital economy, officially launched on the global stage at Hall 6 of Golden Village Funan in Singapore’s Marina Bay Area. The event drew a full-capacity audience, signaling strong interest from the region’s business, media, and creator communities.
The launch gathered SME leaders, entertainment and media executives, and digital entrepreneurs from Singapore and Malaysia, reflecting Jing’s positioning as both a social platform and an economic ecosystem for creators.
The program was hosted by Swiss content creator Marion Muller, with special segments led by Singapore-based influencers Megan Foo and Kathy Wong. The event was also attended by notable personalities including international actress Arci Muñoz, actress Angeli Khang, and internationally recognized film director and singer-songwriter Nijel de Mesa.
At the core of the launch
were keynote presentations delivered by Jing’s executive leadership,
outlining the platform’s strategic vision and differentiators, followed
by a Q&A session with attendees.
Glen John Labasug, President-CEO and Founder of Jing, emphasized the platform’s mission:
“JING
stands for Join, Interact, Network, Grow. We are introducing mechanisms
that directly connect to monetization opportunities, enabling creators
to convert engagement into sustainable income streams.”
Jing is
designed to address a longstanding gap in the social media
landscape—where user engagement does not always translate into financial
value for creators. By integrating monetization features directly into
the platform’s ecosystem, Jing aims to streamline how creators earn,
collaborate, and scale their digital presence.
Chairman and Co-Founder Jing Turla highlighted the broader industry context:
“Jing prioritizes creator sustainability because without creators, there is no culture, no entertainment, and no community.”
This
focus reflects a strategic shift toward long-term creator viability,
positioning Jing not only as a content-sharing platform but as an
infrastructure supporting the creator economy.
From a financial
and product development standpoint, Chief Finance Officer Veron Valle
underscored the company’s disciplined approach:
“Every feature in
Jing is evaluated based on one question: does this empower creators? If
not, it does not belong on the platform.”
The launch comes at a pivotal time, as global demand grows for more equitable and transparent monetization models in digital platforms. Jing’s entry into the market signals increasing competition in the social media space, particularly among platforms seeking to attract professional creators and digital entrepreneurs.
Jing is now available for free download on both Google Play and the Apple App Store, positioning itself for rapid user adoption.
As the digital economy continues to evolve, Jing aims to establish itself as a key player by aligning platform growth with creator success—redefining how value is created and distributed in social media.
For creators, businesses, and communities, Jing represents a new model: one where participation is directly linked to opportunity.
