The 11th Wish Music Awards marked the start of a new decade not just with celebration—but with clear domination from some of OPM’s biggest and most consistent hitmakers.
Held on January 11 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, the awards night saw SB19, Cup of Joe, and TJ Monterde emerge as the evening’s most powerful forces, taking home major wins across performance, song, and top artist categories. With packed fan energy and a star-studded lineup, the ceremony reaffirmed OPM’s continued growth and influence.
Hosted by Christian Bautista and Karylle, this year’s WMAs featured over 80 nominees competing in 19 major categories, covering everything from Wish Bus performances to genre-defining songs. Voting combined 75% judges’ scores and 25% public votes, reflecting both critical acclaim and fan support.
A Night of Clear Standouts

SB19 once again proved their staying power, winning Wishclusive Pop Performance of the Year for “DAM”, Wishclusive Ballad Performance of the Year for “Time”, and Wish Pop Song of the Year for “DUNGKA!”. The group also secured a major collaborative win alongside Sarah Geronimo for “Umaaligid”.

Cup of Joe dominated the rock and alternative space, winning Wishclusive Rock/Alternative Performance of the Year and Wish Rock/Alternative Song of the Year for “Multo”, before being crowned Wish Group of the Year—a defining milestone for the band.

TJ Monterde capped off the night by taking home the most prestigious title, Wish Artist of the Year, while also winning Wish Ballad Song of the Year for the heartfelt hit “Darating Din”.
Breakthroughs and Genre Leaders
Rising stars also made their mark, with Earl Agustin earning Wish Breakthrough Artist of the Year, while Dionela, Janine, Amiel Sol, and Paul N’ Ballin led wins in R&B, folk, and hip-hop categories—highlighting the depth and diversity of today’s OPM scene.
The ceremony was further elevated by standout live performances from IV OF SPADES, Loonie, G22, Arthur Nery, TJ Monterde, and more—turning the awards night into a full-scale musical showcase.
