A CHRISTMAS CAROL Announces Full Cast in Festive Media Launch at The Proscenium

The spirit of Christmas came alive at the media conference for 9 Works Theatrical’s A CHRISTMAS CAROL THE MUSICAL, held at The Proscenium Theater in Rockwell, Makati. The event revealed the show’s full cast — a gathering of the Philippines’ brightest and most beloved theater artists — while giving everyone in attendance an early taste of the holiday season.

The festive press event wasn’t just about announcements. Cast members also shared insights about their roles and reflected on what Christmas in the Philippines means to them today — a season filled with hope, generosity, and the enduring warmth of family.

To complete the experience, guests and members of the media were treated to delightful Christmas fare right in front of The Proscenium Theater. The setup featured food stalls serving holiday favorites, a themed photo booth, and even a claw-playing station — turning the afternoon into a true celebration of joy and community.

Leading the production is Arnel Carrion as Ebenezer Scrooge, a role that promises both gravitas and heart. Sharing the spotlight are Enzo Dognidon and Jethro Ting, alternating as Tiny Tim, the story’s enduring symbol of hope.

The trio of Christmas ghosts will be portrayed by Franco Laurel (Ghost of Christmas Past), Lorenz Martinez (Ghost of Christmas Present), and Carmelle Ros (Ghost of Christmas Yet To Be). Boo Gabunada takes on the haunting yet heartfelt role of Jacob Marley.

Adding youthful energy and romantic charm, CJ Navato joins as Young Ebenezer, while Nicole Omillo plays Emily. John Joven Uy and Anna Santamaria portray Bob and Mrs. Cratchit, bringing family warmth to the tale.

Other standout performers include Jasper John Jimenez and Meliza Reyes as Mr. and Mrs. Fezziwig, Neo Rivera as Fred, and Molly Langley as Emily. The ensemble is rounded out by a talented mix of theater veterans, emerging artists, and an adorable lineup of child actors who will alternate in key roles. 

The musical is directed by Robbie Guevara, with Raul Montesa as assistant director and Daniel Bartolome as musical director. The creative team also includes Mio Infante (scenographer), PJ Rebullida (choreographer), Yek Barlongay (tap choreographer), Gabo Tolentino (lighting designer), and Joee Mejias (video and projection designer).

 

A CHRISTMAS CAROL THE MUSICAL will run on weekends from November 29 to December 21, 2025, with performances at 7:30 PM on Fridays and Saturdays and 3:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays at The Proscenium Theater, Rockwell Center, Makati City.

Presented by 9 Works Theatrical in partnership with Rockwell, METRO (official media partner), and MAC Cosmetics (official make-up partner), the production promises a heartwarming, world-class theatrical experience — one that reaffirms the true meaning of Christmas for Filipino audiences.
