New Viva Films star Azi Acosta takes us on a drama-filled trip in Roman Perez Jr.’s Pamasahe!
Pamasahe is a Tagalog word that may mean two things: money paid by a passenger in public transport, or a request for a massage to relieve body tension, as in “Paki masahe ako” (Please massage me/Please give me a massage).
“Pamasahe”, director Roman Perez, Jr.’s upcoming Vivamax exclusive film, tells the story of Lineth, a young mother from the typhoon-stricken province of Negros who wants to look for her husband in Manila. Though penniless, she manages to ride
a ship that will take her and her infant child to the city. Naturally, nothing comes for free. She has to come up with money to pay for her fare.
A penniless mother, with her infant child, takes on a journey by land and sea to find her husband in Manila. But this trip won’t be free for she has to use her body to get to her destination.
As Lineth offers massage service to men, her life story unfolds. But, how much of what she says is true? What else must she do to get to her destination? Who can she trust?
Playing Lineth is Azi Acosta who lands her first lead role after being part of “Sitio Diablo” and “Ang Babaeng Nawawala sa Sarili”, both films by director Roman Perez Jr, “Selina’s Gold” by McArthur C. Alejandre and the sexy drama series “An/Na”, directed by Jose Javier Reyes. Praised for being a fast learner and serious about her craft, Azi undoubtedly deserves this big break.
Come join Lineth and let this film take both of you to a place you’ve never been before.
“Pamasahe” is available for streaming on December 9, 2022.
