Purok 7 is a countryside dramedy (drama-comedy) that follows 14-year-old Diana and her younger brother who live by themselves after their mother went abroad and their father lived with another woman.
Malinis ang pagkakagawa ng pelikula. Consistent and very smooth ang flow ng movie. Screenplay is very good. The movie has its own moment para pakiligin ka patawanin ka at paiyakin ka. The movie shows the life in a province. Na highlight dito ang a life in a day ng isang bata sa probisnya na ulila rin sa magulang. So sa mga bata na lumaki sa probinsya for sure they can relate in the film.
Ipinakita ang buhay ng isang typical na mga tao sa probisnya. Good thing about this film is it shows in positive way na sinasabi na masarap mabuhay sa probinsya. Iyon ang mensahe na gustong sabihin ng pelikula.
Napakahusay ng cinematography ng pelikulang ito framing, postion at atake ng camera talagang pinagisipan talaga. Some of the framing in the movie are like paintings.
Krystel Valentino is a superb actress in this film. Napakahusay, natural umarte, simpleng galaw ng mga mata at kilos niya ay may sinasabi at galing na galing sa kanya ang katabi ko sa theater that I agree naman. May laban ang babaeng ito for best actress a new breed. Migs Cuadernois charming very natural at mahusay din umarte na bata. Malakas naman ang presence at rehistro sa camera ni Julian Trono. Mas nakilala at naapreciate ko ang bagets na ito because of this film
Audience feedback while watching the film I can say that the movie is well appreciated dahil marami naman talagang mga eksena na nakakatawa at mahusay ang pagkakagawa ng screenplay ng pelikula. Bentang benta sa kanila ang acting ni Krystel na mala Laida Magtalas at Maya ng Be Careful yun kasi ang peg sa love story ng bata with Julian Trono kaya as usual bentang benta.
Overall maganda ang pagkakagawa ng pelikula. Mahusay para sa isang baguhang filmmaker. And I think based on the audience impact on the gala night nagandahan din sila sa pelikula. Panalo din yun ending ng film nakakaiyak na touching.

I haven't watched this film, but i believe that is worth watching and great movie because of the people behind the scenes, casts, and of course the director, Carlo Obispo --- Kudos :)
