My Take on Ina Kapatid Anak

I would just like to blog my take for my favorite teleserye na hindi ko pinapalampas gabi-gabi ang Ina, Kapatid Anak. This teleserye is a huge success for its consistent high ratings and a phenomenal one because of the unpredictable fate and twist of the story.

First of all I would like to commend the the writers and creative team of this teleserye for giving us an unpredictable twist because I really didn’t expect that Celyn and Margaux are twins, I just thought that story will just revolve on Celyn as tunay na anak ni Beatrice and Julio and the insecurities of  Margaux to Celyn pero hinidi pala it turns out to be they are unidentical twins. Boom! Kaya pala the episodes prior to the revelation na kambal sila ay pinapakita yung same mannerism ng 2. So sa story pa lang busog ka na sa dami ng layers ng story at pagkaka ugnay ugnay ng mga characters. Bihira sa isang isang teleserye na makapag come up sa isang unpredictable and unique twist. Ang main story ay umiikot sa story ng isang pamilya. Relasyon ng isang magulang sa anak at sa  anak sa kanyang magulang tunay man ito o hindi. Sub story na lang ang love story nina Celyn&Liam and Margaux&Ethan.

For the performance of the actors I really adore Maja Salvador’s role here as Margaux Marasigan sobrang galing ng pagkakaportray ng character niya rito grabe. She really justify the role at binigyan buhay ang character ni Margaux nakatulong din siguro yung pagiging complex ng character and she really delivers well. From the delivery of the line, expression, nuances, wardrobe, and look talagang nabigyan niya ng buhay. So this is the most successful and pinakanagalingan ako na portrayal ni Maja sa isang soap. For sure after these Maja will be given a lead role in a prime time cause she deserves it. I really like the character of Margau here in which in some aspect ay medyo nakakarelate ako and I understand where is  the emotion coming from. Minsan nga kahit alam ko na mali yung reasoning ni Margau e mas kinakampihan ko pa siya over Celine. For Kim’s role which hindi rin madali dahil under dog yung role niya at kailangan niyang balansahin and character niya for being a mabait and a palaban din. Though for me mas nag excel si Kim doon sa first part ng teleserye in which masiyahin na probinsyana pa si Celyn, bagay sa kanya yung ganung role then nung time naman na iyon medyo subtle lang ang character ni Margaux but after the revelation of the twist doon na nilamon ni Maja sa aktingan si Kim Chiu. Pero infairness kay Kim nag improve na rin naman and acting niya sa drama dahil ang bilis niya narin magpatulo ng luha rito same with Maja but if you willl assess kung sino ang mas nagbenefit sa soap na ito, it is Maja Salvador in terms of revelation sa acting.

For the seniors naman ofcourse it only goes to between Beatrice played by Janice De Belen and Teresa played by Cherry Pie Picache. Beatriz character is one of kind here and much challenging compare to Theresa’s role and Janice pull it up very well and it’s a revelation to Janice De Belen that she can portray pala this kind of role. For Cherry Pie , we all know that she is very good in drama at mani na lang sa kanya ang role niya rito but infairness to her talagang ramdam mo at may puso ang acting ni Ms. Pie same with Janice may puso din especially sa mga drama scene niya but its Janice de Belen na nagbenefit sa soap na ito. For the other characters, Ariel Rivera as Julio parang iisa lang na emotion ang nakikita ko sa kanya, Jayson Gainza as Oscar is good ang susi sa katotohanan. The veteran actors Eddie Gutierez good thing that he accepts this phenomenal soap and Ms. Pilar Pilapil is ok as well. For the leading man Enchong Dee as Ethan and for Xian Lim  as Liam their role is not that required of depth hindi ganung kabigat, tamang suporta lang sila sa bida but mas nagexpect kasi ako kay Enchong here cause I know na magaling siyang umarte pero parang pantay lang sila ni Xian rito. I think mas nagbenefit si Xian sa soap na ito at personally I really don’t like Xiam talaga dati but after niyang mapasama rito eh naalis na rin ang bad vibes ko sa kanya.  I also like the only child cast played by Clarence Delgado as Ivan he is very cute at matalino on his role as giving advice  to his Kuya Liam.

One of the reason at nakadagdag ng excitement sa panonood ko nito ay dahil na rin sa pagpasok ng aking favorite indie actor and ultimate crush na si Alex Medina. After his success from Cinema One Originals winning as Best Actor ay pinasok na siya rito at and formally launch as regular cast on Book 2 and seems that na essential din ang role niya rito na unti unti ng narereveal. For his performance here , he delivers as truthful as it can be on his character though may konting mystery at may lalim ang kanyang pagganap rito.

So napansin ko rin sa soap na ito ay ang dami niyang ibat ibang sequence per episode na in one day ay ang dami dami nangyayari at infairness hindi pa dragging yung story up to this moment at alam mo na hindi lang basta pinapahaba yung soap dahil may mga pasabog pa rin talaga per week. So kudos to the team especially to the 3 directors : Don Quaresma, Emanuel Palo and Jojo Saguin. It’s also first time na gumamit ang ABS sa isang soap na plugging na may theme for that episode na aabangan ng mga tao like yung Gabi ng Katotohanan, Gabi ng Pagbubunyag, Gabi ng Pagpapakilala, Gabi ng Pagbabago at Gabi ng Rebelasyon and its very successful to get a high ratings so feeling ko magagamit pa nila ang ganitong strategy sa susunod nilang mga soap.

At ngayun this coming Friday ating sabay sabay natin panoorin ang GABI NG PAGTUTUOS. Ito na ang pinakahihintay na panahon ni Margaux. I am so much excited sa mga susunod pa na episode after this dahil for sure marami pang kaabang abang na mangyayari  pagkatapos nito. So justified ang  ang high ratings ng teleserye na ito dahil they give us many reasons para patuloy na subaybayan ito. Again I would like to commend the staff, crew , writers, directors and actors of Ina, Kapatid Anak for giving us a good teleserye to watch to.
