Movie Review: Must Be Love

This movie tells about the friendship of Patch (Kathryn) and Ivan (Daniel), Their hidden feelings for each other na hindi lang marereveal kung hindi dumating ang pinsan ni Patch (Liza Sobirano).  Liza Sobirano trigger the relationship status of the two bestfriends para magkaaminan sa isat isa. John Lapuz character named Tita Baby aunt of Daniel in the movie is essential as well para aminin nung dalawa ang kanilang feelings sa isat isa. Ipinakita rin sa movie kung anong klaseng pamilya meron ang bawat isa sa kanila.

I like how the story was created kasi nagawang pagtahi tahiin and iconnect  yung mga bagay bagay sa movie. Hindi siya pilit na ginawa at swumabe sa story of the 2 character. Screenplay is commendable because like in one scene naipakita kung anong klaseng pamilya meron si Kathryn in which their like a one big happy family having their own lechunan business and when we say big family it includes the pinsan tito & pamangkin. Doon pinakita ang absence ng babae sa family ni Patch that’s why lumaki si Patch na don’t know how to be a girl.

Acting wise passable  ang Kathniel for their character that their portraying so that’s ok. I would like to commend Sharlene San Pedro for doing a good support sa movie. I like her character dito at nagampanan niya ito ng maayos.  Super aliw din ako sa awayan ni Arlene Mulach nanay ni Daniel at ni Cacai na hindi lang kalaban sa negosyo ng parlor kundi other woman din pala ng tatay ni Daniel, so riot ang every talakan scene ng 2.

What I like pa about the movie is hindi pilit yung mga kilig scenes at hindi gasgas yung mga eksena na napanood ko na in the past. There is something with Daniel Padilla na talagang nagustuhan ng mga tao especially ng mga bagets, ngayun lang ule ako nakapanood ng movie na may tumitiling mga fans dahil sa kilig na everytime na magdidikit ang mga mukha ng Kathniel e hiyawan ang mga tao. So this proves that Kathniel loveteam is phenomenal and they are the hottest love team of their generation.

All in all, mahusay talaga ang pagkakagawa ng film very raw, fresh, unique story and screenplay and I really adore how Dado direct the film in which nasustain niya yung mood nung film from start to beginning na light and glossy. From 24/7 In love pa lang nagustuhan ko na ang episode niya up to this film,he never fails me. Matalino yung director for me na marami siyang atake dito na hindi ko pa napapanood sa mga RomCom film. This movie is way much better that A Moment In Time directing and screenplay wise. No wonder this film surpasses the first week gross of A Moment In Time dahil maganda siya and because of the chemistry of Kathniel. So if you want to watch a quality timely tween  romance light feel good movie this is commendable.
